Spilled water on my laptop, doesn't turn on, blah, blah, blah...
How much would it cost for Dell to fix it?|||Impossible to tell without looking inside it and seeing what part(s) were affected that are preventing it from booting. It might be something minor that can be replaced cheaply. It might be the entire system board which would cost as much as a new laptop. Someone would have to look at it to tell.|||depends on what is water damaged, if its the power supply or motherboard its not worth it unless you have a really expensive gaming computer, if its just like the cmos battery or the keyboard than not very much to get a new one|||Probably more than it is worth if the motherboard is fried.
http://www.dell.com/content/products/pro鈥?/a>|||LET IT DRY OUT FOR A WEEK OR SO AND THEN BOOT IT. IT MIGHT WORK THEN IF YOU DIDNT FRY IT WHEN IT WAS WET.PUT A HAIRDRYER TO IT ON LOW HEAT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND SEE WHAT GOES.
