thanx|||Its an okay processor but it will be slow. Its one of those low voltage processors that will give you a crazy long battery life. It will work for everyday tasks but it would become a pain to use and will freeze up the computer quite a lot. Unless you really need the long battery life, get a normal, non-thin laptop so you get a better processor.|||yes it's good for what you want it to do, just take good care of it ... no limewire, frost wire, nor any of those peer to peer (p2p) sharing networks where you may download viruses ... always keep your anti virus up to date .... if you dont' have one a free good one is Microsoft Security Essentials which you can get to download from Microsoft's website www.microsoft.com and type it in the search bar and download ...|||you need A LOT more power than that! look at Alienware computers. one that you need cost about $1,500 and up. those power points eat processors for breakfast!|||try something with a faster processor, i suggest 1.8 GHz or higher|||Please not that djmaxx is joking, which is funny to someone with experience, but quite cruel to someone, maybe or maybe not like you, who doesn't know a ton about computers...Any laptop in the $450-$700 range should be more than enough for what you want. That 1.3ghz processor is pretty slow (trust me, my friend has it inside of a laptop with top-notch specs, other than the processor). I would recommend around 1.8 ghz dual core or higher in a laptop if you want to be able to browse through files without a bunch of lag.

I personally hate Dell, their products are major pieces of junk, break easily (note that's probably why one answerer said to take extra good care of it). HP has made the best laptops for a while, and they aren't overpriced either.

good luck|||yeah that should be good if not better.
