I've read a couple of articles on ehow and other places like that but none of them work for me.
I wanted to use F8 to get to advanced boot mode.
Click "repair your computer" so I can get to "restore Dell Settings" but that option isn't listed. What am I doing wrong?
I have a Dell XPS 400 with windows XP installed.|||It`s Ctrl and F11 at startup for XP, to restore factory settings.
This will work as long as you have a restore partition, which I think you do have.
F8 is for Vista.
