How to handle my Dell blue screen of death?

My Dell had problem with a corrupted hard disk drive and failed to start up when I turned the computer on. My Dell runs on Windows 7 home edition and is an Inspiron Zino HD. I dropped it off at my college computer store to be repaired. What I am asking, is can I sell the computer or trade it in at a computer store for a new one?

It's only 4 months old.|||If it is paid for, you can do whatever you want to with your laptop. I would not have purchased a Dell Inspiron because they are the low budget Dells. Im sure you could have fixed your laptop on your own, provided you have your recovery disk. The error of corrupted hard disk means that your boot files are not in order. Easy fix would have been to put in your recover disk and let it reinstall. This is exactly what the computer store will do and charge your anywhere from $50- $100. If they are cool, they will charge you just the fee to check it out. Now if your hard drive has died, you should be able to get a replacement from Dell for Free. Also go to Dell website and see about there trade in program. If you buy another Dell, i recommend Dell Studio, or Alienware series. Then if you can get away from them all together, Asus, ACER has some really good systems for far better prices..|||Just as its name suggest, blue screen of death is one of the most general windows errors that every users will encounter everyday. When the blue screen happen, it means that something severe is going bad with your computer, specifically, your windows registry. The Windows registry refer to the data of the components such as hardware and software which are set up on the computer. Windows are guided by the registry on what to do and how to access the different software programs, files or processes. However, as time goes by, the registry may got corrupt and even harmful data, and Windows then have to carry ineffectual tasks and needless functions. The main objective of a registry cleaner is to eliminate the unneeded items from the windows registry to ensure your computer will keep running quicker and with fewer errors.I should like to commend Registry Easy http://clean-up-registry-faster-pc.com to you ! You can scan your pc for free! Good luck!|||well i think u get rid of it any way.
