I have a Dell Inspiron 1501. I don't want to waste money on a bunch of different blank dvds. Which brand is most compatible with the Inspiron burners?|||empty ones|||they are all compatible.
best bet would be Taiyo Yuden, best brand hands down. you can order them online (they do sell their own dvd's as well as making them for other brands). if not, they also brand as Sony, Verbatim, and some others.. but be careful.. dvd brands sell out their name to many makers..
just stay away from MCC and Ritek disks
be careful with things like HP or Maxwell.. you might get lucky and get a Taiyo Yuden batch, or you may get some crap brand. there is no way to tell until you open the cd's and read the code with your dvd player (though sometimes country of origin may help)
