What does it mean when the battery light on a dell netbook flashes pink?

I have a dell netbook, and every so often the light at the bottom flashes PINK, NOT red like it usually does when it is about to die. Its usually plugged into the charger when it does this. What does the pink light mean????? I haven't had any problems with this computer, but should i get it checked out?|||Are the lines there all the time even during boot-up? Or are they only there in Windows? If the lines are apparent only in Windows then I would suggest running Windows update and searching for a new video driver. Also check the device manager to determine what manufacture and model of video card you have. (Press Windows Key + Pause, select the hardware tab and then select device manager, under video adaptors see what is listed) Check the manufacture for an updated driver for the video card.

If the video issue is there even during boot up you could have a defective video card or LCD. If a driver update does not solve the issue and the line is showing up during POST (Power On Self Test, before windows is running, just after you start the computer) I would find out if your laptop is still under manufacturer warranty and bring it to the retailer that you bought it from A.S.A.P. They will most likely have to ship it out for repair or my replace it outright. Make sure you back up any valuable data before you let anyone take your computer.

Good Luck x
