Can i use a dell computer start up disc on a toshiba laptop?

ok so i have a relular Dell Desktop computer that is working fine, but i want to start my toshiba laptop from scratch. Can i use my Dell startup cds to reboot my laptop without any problems?|||In a word NO, all the dell drivers will not work on the Toshiba.|||i dont think u could because i used a different model disc on another laptop and it ruined the pc.
