How long do dell inspirons 17 laptops take to be built and delivered to the uk?

I ordered a dell inspiron 17 laptop about an hour ago on the phone. How long do they take to be build and delivered to the uk?


The confirmation email did say approximately 9th October which I thought was a bit long.
